Strong MMS Finishes to Lead into Vurb Classic

This past weekend the Lyman, Maine track held the Maine Motocross Series and acted as a great trial run. The #199 bike was lined up for 3 classes on Sunday, 65 C, 65 Open, and the 85 C class and finally got the consistent rides he needed to bring home three top five finishes. From start to finish Pat rode strong through the day, making it the first time he ever left the track with 3 plaques in hand.

Prescott Finds Mid-Season Groove

After an injury riddled spring Patrick Prescott has now found his place at the front of the pack at this weekends MMS race in Minot Maine. Despite a hard get off in practice that resulted in Pat missing his 85 C moto, he come out swinging in moto one of the 65 C. After two laps of running in second and pushing for the lead he went over the bars yet again and by the time he got the bike started he had been passed by the entire pack. In just over a lap he made his comeback ride of the day making pass after pass to finish the moto in 4th. He managed a consistent ride in his 65 Open moto crossing the line in 5th after moto 1.

Reid Lanpher Motor Mile Speedway Race Report

Reid Lanpher of Manchester, Maine, finished 10th in the second half of the Dirty Dozen Cup Pine Ridge Nursery Twin 125s at Motor Mile Speedway in Radford, Va., on Saturday, August 10. Lanpher finished 11th in the first 125-lap Late Model Stock event, forced to battle for track position after qualifying 12th out of 21 cars in a light mist in the No. 8 JR Motorsports Chevrolet.

Reid Lanpher Motor Mile Speedway Race Preview

Reid Lanpher of Manchester, Maine, returns to drive the No. 8 JR Motorsports Chevrolet in the Pine Ridge Nursery Twin 125-lap Late Model events at Motor Mile Speedway in Radford, Va., on Saturday, August 10. The 15-year-old Lanpher posted the second-fastest time in final practice at Motor Mile and had a career-best qualifying effort of third at the track when Dirty Dozen Cup first visited the .416-mile speedway earlier this season, and he's hoping to build off of that effort and build some momentum in the second half of the season. Coming off a Top-10 finish at Hickory Motor Speedway in July, Lanpher has been busy during his more than a month away from JR Motorsports – winning one Amsoil NELCAR Legends Tour race and posting four straight Top-2 finishes in the division.

OXFORD, Maine – Reid Lanpher of Manchester, Maine, posted back-to-back podium finishes on the Amsoil NELCAR Legends Tour, finishing second in both the VIP Thursday Thunder 25 at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway in Scarborough, Maine, on Thursday, July 18, and the 25-lap event at Oxford Plains Speedway in Oxford, Maine, on Saturday, July 20.
