Round 5 of the Maine Motocross Series at MX-207 in Lyman Maine marked Pat Prescott’s first race on his KTM 85. While his results from his maiden voyage in the 85C Class only saw him up to 8th in the first moto, it was what he went on to accomplish in his 65 classes that showed the true testament of his move to a bigger bike. It seemed as though Pat’s comfort level had gone through the roof when he got back on the 65 and now he was battling for a podium position.
At the end of the day Pat would go 2-3 for 3rd overall in the 65C Class and 3-3 for 3rd overall in the 65 Open Class. With his day going so well on the small bike, he skipped the second moto of the 85C Class and focused on finishing the day strong. Pat now sits in 4th in the 65C Class and 6th in the 65 Open Class for the Spring Season MMS Championship.
Next on the schedule for the #199 machine is the New England Classic at Hemond’s Motocross Park in Minot Maine.
