In the past two weeks, the EJP Motocross Team has visited two tracks as part of the Maine Motocross Series. September 16th was round 4 of the MMS Fall Championship Series and this team showed up to the MX207 course prepared to bring home some hardware. Lane Shorey got the party kicked off by going undefeated on the day. He won both the 250B and Open B classes with 1-1 finishes. Keeping the ball rolling, Patrick Prescott is getting himself back up to speed after his mid summer injury. He would go 5-4 for 5th overall in the 65 Open class, and followed that up with a 5th overall in the 65C class. To check out this weeks results download the pdf.
Week two of the teams “Back to Back MMS Tour” took the team to Hemond’s Motocross Park in Minot Maine. Lane yet again showed he can run up front all day going 1-1 in the 250B for 1st overall. He would back that up with a strong 2nd overall finish in the Open B class. Patrick keeps improving week after week and did so again going 3-2 in the 65C class for second overall. He was close to a 3rd overall in the Open C class when he went down in the last corner, but had to settle for 4th.
The team has a week off and then its back to racing as Lane attempts to wrap up a Maine Motocross Series Championship as Patrick goes for a podium spot on the season. To stay up to date on the championship series click here.
